1990 was a great World Cup

2002 was also one of my favourites. Going to the pub to watch a match at about 7am and ordering a pint and a bacon roll. Great memories!

2002 was epic for me too.

Pub at 7.30am, breakfast, drunk by 11.00am, got hit by a car crossing the road on the way home. Spent the next 2 weeks in hospital watching games on TV with a very nice nurse when she got of shift.

Ended up marrying her. Not been allowed out since unless she is with me.

:)

He was officially 38, but many believed he was actually older, maybe even 42-44

If memory serves me correctly they almost knocked England out, but people seem to have forgotten that.

I haven't, they were excellent.

For large parts we were totally outplayed, and at 2-1 down we looked set to lose. They gave away two daft penalties though, and we scraped through 3-2

Didn’t the Colombian Goalie get gunned down for that?
