Enjoyed the Horizon program, lots of good ideas (not so much keeping turds in the freezer next to the burgers though ?!!)

Being a fan of gadgets and a poor sleeper myself, I bought a precursor to those sleep apps a few years ago;

- like the apps it monitors your sleep patterns & wakes you up at the "optimal" time, you can also upload the data to a PC for later analysis (software not as sophisticated as the new apps though).

Didn't really help me that much TBH, but other people swear by it

Cheers for the link, gave it a go last night. Don't think given the stats it was a particularly good sleep but did feel this morning as though I slept better than normal. It will be interesting as the data builds up to compare. Going to also keep some notes about how the night felt.

Anyone else try it?

I think from a trading view point it would be interesting to compare sleep against performance in the markets. Anyone up for doing that project?

I watched that too, really interesting stuff.
There are some very switched on people out there; it makes you wonder if people of that intelligence apply themselves to the betfair markets! I dont think you'd ever switch your PC on if you thought that you were competing with that calibre of person.
The quantum computing info was interesting, its still hard to get your head around how at that molecular level things can be in two places at once (My kids often think this is possible at my level too!)

That's funny. What on earth was the bloke stood in front of his mate who was driving thinking? Dangerous game golf, I actually broke my tibula I think it's called in my ankle when I was about 14 messing around. I soldiered on for one more hole but couldn't make the last 3 holes.

If you like motor sport..
we went to watch Rush at the cinema during the week.
It 's about the intense rivalry between James Hunt and Nikki Lauda. really enjoyed it.
Directed by Ron Howard the camera work is first class.
All I would say is try and see it on the big screen rather that at home..recommended
