Bets will get triggered and placed at 1.20 but Betfair will match at better odds if they are available
Back the Likely Winner Automation Bot for Horse Racing
Hi Dallas,
I am new to the forum, I have been using the betangel tool from last 6 months. I just checked all the possible strategies in this post. I have a question though, instead of using 1.20 as historical price , if we use price as 1.07 and give all the possible timings in conditions such as before 5 second, before 4 second and so on...

You can add two fixed odds conditions to a rule type which will create a range
ie, 1 greater than 3.0
the other less than 5.0

Hello Dallas, when the bot triggers at the odds ive set how do you stop the bot placing a bet at higher odds than whats set?
Once its triggered if better odds than what you placed it at are available Betfair will match you at thoseiangrant230 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2017 9:07 pmHello Dallas, when the bot triggers at the odds ive set how do you stop the bot placing a bet at higher odds than whats set?

One more question could you talk me through how you would place a stop loss in play?
It can be added on the parameters tab (under global settings) but it's not something I would recommend using in-play especially at these odds when the price can fly out in the blink of an eyeiangrant230 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 11, 2017 7:36 pmOkay Dallas, thanks,Dallas wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2017 10:04 pmOnce its triggered if better odds than what you placed it at are available Betfair will match you at thoseiangrant230 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2017 9:07 pmHello Dallas, when the bot triggers at the odds ive set how do you stop the bot placing a bet at higher odds than whats set?

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
back any horse at 1.50
that part is done on the parameters tab using the 'Place at'
when LTP was 1.61
this part is done on the conditions tab be editing the existing 'fixed odds condition'
a stop loss when the LTP is above 3.
I wouldn't advise using a stop loss with this type of bots , if a runner is beat there odds will fly out so fast it wont get matched most times (but will if its just a temp spike). If you do want to try one i would suggest adding a 'green up' rule as that can be made to trigger multiple times rather than use an actual stop loss as that will only trigger once

sounds right about the stop loss, but don't quite understand the last part about the "green up", what will it do exactly?
