I have an automation file which sometimes works as intended
It involves backing any 2 horses in running at specific times and prices eg <3and <4 also to back shortest price first
The times and prices fired are ok but sometimes it backs 1 horse twice at same price or twice at different prices and not the other horse
For both rules my questions are
on the general tab
is it row index or any selection
conditions
first bet
matched bets on market=0
back price <3
matched bets on selection =0
and should it be current or nominated?
conditions
2nd bet
matched bets on market=1
back price <4
matched bets on selection =0
and should it be current or nominated?
Hope this makes sense
Any ideas please
Betting in running eg fav and 2nd fav
agreed, and potentially (depending on the number of re-arms) a condition to monitor unmatched bets on the market. in short, depending on the strategy, you may or may not wish to only ever have one unmatched bet on the market at a time, in which case you'll need to monitor unmatched across selection and market. as for current or nominated; if it's purely the FIRST runner to match on the criteria then BA will work up from lowest odds to highest. this means that if you have two runners <3 odds, then the lowest odds runner will be selected. repeat for < 4 etc...
Adjusted as suggested above ie no unmatched bets
Same again today.
some races bets 2 horses
other races bets same 1 at same price and time

ok, I took a quick look and added two conditions to your back < 4/1 rule as follows:
* Unmatched bets on the market = 0
* Matched bet on the market > 0
I've attached the amended rule which you can try yourself to see if it works as planned.
