Now fixed in v1.50.1 - download links updated in the first post.
Also a few extra Stored Value options have been added to this build - see first post for details.
thanks for those additions to the stored values, they will save a little bit of excel munching. now, only final request is to add another SV of VWAP factored out to a closed system of 100% per selection
That'll probably have to wait until the next major version unless we need to issue another bug fix build, but just to clarify, are you looking for:
100% correct... the end game being that all measures are in the same base unit (i.e. factored out to 100%).. means you can party on vwap% crossing back/lay book% etcBet Angel wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 2:05 pmThat'll probably have to wait until the next major version unless we need to issue another bug fix build, but just to clarify, are you looking for:
100.0 / VWAP
so the result is the Book% of the selection based on its Volume Weighted Average Price rather than its current price?
Why is this so exciting McGoo?
The book% of a selection is another way of saying implied probability (IP%)RonObvious wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 4:59 pmThis is probably a stupid question but here goes anyway.
Can somebody explain to me the difference between book % of a selection & vol% of a selection?
The vol% of a selection I get as I can see it on the ladder but I don't really uderstand the book% of a selection, probably because I dont see a visual representation of it anywhere.
Thanks
Ah ok thanks Dallas.
Yes you can test to see if its changed or store a new value after anytimeRonObvious wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 5:31 pmAh ok thanks Dallas.
And last question can stored values be used to track changes in book % over regular time intervals?
I have waited a long time to be able to track volume% in automation & have probably got more focused on the process/technology but like everything, the "rub" will be in the detail -as in how you apply it.Put it down to geek excitement
Re potential updating of Stored Values from Excel in a future release. I appreciate that the Excel refresh cycle may be slower than the BAF Automation File processing cycle. I still think it would be a useful feature to be able to set Stored Values from Excel though because the logic that can be used to calculate and set Stored Values in BAF files is fairly restricted, while the logic that can be built into Excel and Excel VBA is pretty much unlimited.
