TPD Feedback and Issues
Please be aware that we have an internal system issue regarding today's (Sunday 3rd March) US races. At the moment they are not flowing through our various systems. The Developers are on the case and hopefully all will be fine before the first affected race; Gulfstream 5:10pm GMT.
FYI,TPD-Zone wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 7:47 amMany thanks for pointing this out, the appropriate Support Team will be notified. For general information, the https://www.totalperformancedata.com/ site is showcasing the TPD B2B (corporate) offerings and both Newbury and Kempton should be on this list.lotora wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2024 3:27 am@TPD-Zone. Newbury and Kempton Park are not on this list: https://www.totalperformancedata.com/ra ... -coverage/
Kempton will not be available to Bet Angel and the other trading platforms for some time and the site https://www.tpd.zone/ reflects this - this site is dedicated to the Zone (General Public) side of the business.
1. Newbury and Kempton Park are STILL NOT on this list: https://www.totalperformancedata.com/ra ... -coverage/
2. Kempton Park is STILL mentioned here: https://www.tpd.zone/status/
Total Score: 0/2
Regarding Kempton and the meeting appearing on the public status page; the Developers have advised that it is due to the testing that they are doing. The Status page normally suppresses anything with course = RMG. Until such time as this is rectified we will add an appropriate note alongside each affected race. Thanks.

Regarding Newbury, still testing? Any news about Kempton, or anything else?TPD-Zone wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 9:16 amRegarding Kempton and the meeting appearing on the public status page; the Developers have advised that it is due to the testing that they are doing. To confirm that Newbury has been live since the end of January. RMG tracks are still pending commercial agreement.
Thanks for your swift reply!
Does this commercial agreement extend to encompass distinguished racecourses such as Aintree, Beverley, Carlisle, Chelmsford City, Epsom Downs, Goodwood, Haydock Park, Kempton Park, Newmarket, Sandown Park, and York?
Yes - as and when agreement is reached it will cover all RMG tracks.

Had lots of data-flow issues at Newbury this afternoon from race 2 onwards. Perhaps connected to the huge schedule delay?
Same herejamesedwards wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 5:52 pmHad lots of data-flow issues at Newbury this afternoon from race 2 onwards. Perhaps connected to the huge schedule delay?
The Developers have confirmed that the race delays caused a number of system clock issues and pricing issues. The clock issues affecting the Zone data and the pricing issues affecting the in-running odds which a number of Bookies use.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 5:52 pmHad lots of data-flow issues at Newbury this afternoon from race 2 onwards. Transponder swap at Newcastle 18:00.
Very fortunately the 1st and 2nd horses (1 & 3) were carrying the correct transponder. The other 4 horses all looked wrong.

Our investigation into this incident has highlighted some erroneous Assignment Sheets being produced and passed to the Course Operator, who did not spot the error until it was too late. Unfortunately this was human error, but fortunately it is a very rare occurrence re the UK tracks. Apologies for this error.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 6:11 pmTransponder swap at Newcastle 18:00.

At what point is "too late", too late? I'm sure everyone trading on TPD data would rather the data be halted, even mid-race, than for it to remain flowing after a transponder swap has been identified.TPD-Zone wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 1:33 pmOur investigation into this incident has highlighted some erroneous Assignment Sheets being produced and passed to the Course Operator, who did not spot the error until it was too late.
