Something big is happening amongst white labels, i got my account suspendend. There is a great confusion, orbit does not allow lay bets on horse racing anymore, brokers are sending emails like this

ATTENTION : Betfair is going to remove the LAY bet option on HORSE RACING markets, effective today at 16:30 UTC. The lay option will still be available but will throw an error message if you try to place bets. Apologies for any inconvenience, this decision is out of our control.

'Betfair wishes to inform you that the International Master Sub Agent Structure is being discontinued with immediate effect due to a change in company policy. We are working through the returning of funds and any open positions held within the accounts. We will be in touch with you next week to confirm the process. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this change'

Are they shutting down all broker services? Are they preparing to focus only on sportsbook?

Sorry to hear about your broker but for Christ's sake, opening an apocalyptic thread on Christmas day? Really?

There was this annoucement yesterday regarding a new deal between Flutter and all racecourses for streaming/in running. If there's anything in the OP re end of laying via brokers/sub agents, can only think it may be in someway contractually initiated by this, given timing and immediate effect....?

Well sure this is the end for me, 1000 euro freezed for the moment, hoping someone will clarify this.
Why all of the sudden these limitations? Why suspend lay function on orbit exchange? Why suspend all broker accounts?

What’s the point in a broker account as opposed to using Betfair directly ?

Then why complain when things go pear shaped. Standard bookies and governments being pressurised from such have always been against individuals laying market selections.

Many of these so called brokers are just allowing money laundering.

Was only a matter of time before the authorities stepped in and put additional pressure on said brokers.

Ok you are right, but there is a lot of liquidity coming from this "zone". Liquidity apart, why an exchange would suspend lay bets? This is the point

I think you are hurt and looking for sympathy. Been there myself. Hope you are OK. Maybe take some time out for yourself. Its Christmas, in the UK at least. Things will get better for you.

If you want to trade on Betfair but dont live here maybe we could think of something. Although im not saying you should trust me. Just an idea. Trying to help.

Have heard something similar to OP regarding white labels but waiting to get it confirmed.

He is right though - ALOT of liquidity comes from this area.

Cricket growth has been built on these relationships over the last few years.
