Many years ago I came across this saying; it was to do with the fact that nothing, absolutely nothing, is definite. When I ventured into the crazy world of Betfair back in 2006 I thought this idea of uncertainty was garbage. However, year in and year out it began to become credible. So, when it comes to sport, especially football, nothing is certain.
Before the Argentina v Iceland game yesterday I proudly told the wife, put 50 quid on Argentina to win; it's a dead cert. How wrong I was. Argentina scored in the 19th minute and, to my utter astonishment, Iceland drew level four minutes later! And, as we now know, the game finished 1 - 1. I shall not repeat the words of my trouble and strife!
Bet Angel is, for me, the best robotic software bar none. But a word of warning. Be careful with all those automation interfaces. For those who have followed me with my sniping winners option, better the devil you know! Try and reduce uncertainty in your trading!

It's interesting to note that without the idea of 'uncertainty' then none of us would be here, doing this (trading/betting).
The very activity relies on the element of the uncertain...something we are all constantly in pursuit of understanding.

I thought snipping was all about backing 'certain' winners and in the video link on the other thread you said that you backed a 'definite' winner!!
After all the video advice you've been giving you only just discovered yesterday that nothing is certain.

I suspect the match was about as certain as the odds implied.
