I have been watching the videos and read all about greening out or so called making profits no matter what outcome of a game or race.
I am not a pro and I am not trying to make a fortune out of this, I bet for fun, however no matter what I tried I couldn't get the results on the videos that are posted by betangel on youtube, whenever i try to lay it tells me i need over $200 is it not possible to start with a smaller amount eg, $50 or $100?
Is there a guide that I can follow or someone who could help me?
Making profit no matter what the outcome?
$200!!!!!?
If you are using minimum stakes i would be wary of laying those huge odds. You only have ot be caught on one, and your conection go down, and you are in trouble.
Make sure you understand your liability on your lays before playing
Try playing at the top end of the market.

so I went on a soccer match which had odds of 1.07 for back and 1.08 for lay at the moment
I clicked the make market button with an initial stake of $6 (that's the minimum)
Then It started showing me -$0.06 on the trade profit box and i clicked it hoping it would place a stake that would get my loss down to 0 but it did not instead it placed a 0.6x2 back at the team and 0.06 lay.
the end results are..
Selection Odds Stake($) Bid type Placed Profit/loss($)
Sao Paulo * 1.07 6.12 Back 0.42
Sao Paulo * 1.08 6.06 Lay -0.48
*Average odds: On Off Back subtotal: 0.42
Lay subtotal: -0.48
Market subtotal: -0.06
Commission : 0.00
Net Market Total: -0.06
could anyone tell me what I have done wrong?

Make market backs at the lay price and lays at the back price. If one of those got match before the other when your order reached the market then is possible you had a losing trade. In this case you should have backed at the lay price first, waited for that to fill then backed at the lay price for a profit.

Ok, take for example the game I am trading in-play at the moment which is Internacional v Estudiantes. It has just gone half-time and it is currently 0-0.
I am trading The Draw in the Match Odds market, you could currently back £50 at 2.42, then when the second half starts, after a couple of minutes the lay price will move down to 2.4 at which point you could lay £50 at 2.4 which providing the match ended in a draw, would give you a profit of £1.

- also could it be that I am not from the UK that I can't bet on different odds, because I believe with betfair international you are trading against betfair and not other customers?

Yes, you are right when you say you would not make a loss if it did not end in a draw, but you could trade the profit across all selections and you would win no matter what the outcome was.
Not being in the UK should not affect your ability to bet on different odds as far as I know.

Play the horses its much easier, target the favourite or second favourite. I would start with a £300 Bank minimum for decent staring ROI (Return on Investment)scorpiogeek wrote:I seen some of them but, I still don't get what I am doing wrong.

Lay @ £25 say 3.8 = £70 liability
Back @£25 Say 3.9 = £72.50 profit win
£72.50 - £70.00 = 2.50
once you achieve the £2.50 trade then tick the green box on BA Calculator and spread the profit across the runners. I tend to trade in play so i go to achive a much bigger match

Ok so I went on a horse race as suggested;
I believe I had 0.12 or 0.16 $ profit and I used the green function which ended up as a 0.03 profit.
So if I hadn't used the green function I would have made 0.12 cents. So I still dont understand how using green up could be profitable.
