Can I place a bet for as little as 5p on BetAngel ?

We were all new to Bet Angel once. Ask any question you like here and fellow forum members promise not to laugh. Betfair trading made simple.

I've been using Bet Trader Pro, but it's gone down and doesn't look like it's coming back.
Is it possible to place a bet for as low as 5p on BetAngel?

Yeah, you can if you mess around with the staking a bit

Without being rude though, I don't understand why people would want to pay reasonable money to access an API, then place unbelievably small amounts when they are trading

Just starting off with a very small betting bank and increasing as it builds, got to be able to cover the losing runs with the system I'm using. We don't all have a large bank to start with. I'm not using it to trade but to bet.
