Excel version

Hello everyone,
My name is Adam.I'm fairly new in this forum. I've been using BA for a while,mainly ladder. I'm thinking about automation and excel but got confused a little. I'm not quite sure which excel license allow me connect with BA as some of them are not for commercial use. I've never use one so don't know to much about it. All I know that there is office 2010 and 2013 either business or pro but still don't know what to get.Its get even more confusing when it goes to office 365 Business with annual subscription as it require to provide company details. Excel would be my first step to get closer to start collecting data and work with them. I know that this is probably basic question for most of you but as I said I'm new to excel and think that this is best place to start with.
