Hello,
I would like to know if this calculation is correct. Because I would like to lay at higher odds and back low
If I lay at higher odds $3 and back at 2.16 with a lay stake of $20
The calculator is saying to back at $27.78 for a profit of $12.22
At bottom of image has profit and loss table but I just would like to make sure I can green up this way by laying firt
It's my first time doing it this way for football matches.
Thanks for your time

You can go into any market at any time and will always be able to lay at higher odds than you can back for - but doing it creates a loss
In your example, you'd either lose -£7.78 when hedged or you'd lose -£12.22 if left unhedged and that selection won
You need to back at higher odds than you lay at to make a profit
