Matter has Never produced a Mind
Except during procreation?

But the mind is the manifestation of thought that takes place within the brain, which is matter. It's the matter that makes the mind. And fyi we can create materials but not matter, matter can't be created or destroyed. (some pesky physics law about the conservation of mass)

Apart from that I think you're ready to do your TED talk.

That's a powerful and compelling conclusion. I don't think anyone could argue with that.

There should be a red button just above your bed. If you press it the nurse will come round and re-attach your drip.

By the way the guy in the bed opposite has just had his legs amputated, he wants to know if you'd like to buy his slippers.

I've just remembered the original gag.....
Nurse: "I've got good news and bad news"
Patient: "Give me the bad news"
Nurse "We looked at the wrong notes and we've amputated your legs"
Patient: "Oh Jeez, and the good news?"
Nurse: "the guy in the bed opposite wants to buy your slippers."

Nothing kills a joke more than telling it twice but I'd been racking my brains about where i'd got it from.

Hard to believe StellaBot somehow passed the Turing Test.
