What connection speed & backup systems?

Just interested as to what connection and backup everyone has in place, and also what do you all suggest to be the absolute ideal for full backup and trading security.

I simply trade off a laptop and simply switch to a mobile broadband connection if my main connection fails.

Virgin cable main connection and adsl backup. Oh and UPS in case of power outage or spike!

Its not the connection speed I have a problem with, it’s the slow TV pictures that cause me most grief.

I trade form a pc but have a laptop running with mobile broadband, so covered from power outage, sudden crash, hardware failure or internet downtime.

but the only time I’ve lost my full bank was when Betfair crashed and there was nothing I could do. This could always happen again. I suppose you could have a back up bank with Betdaq and finish the trade on there?

Thanks for the replies, I'm a long way from having a secure backup system in place at the moment. Hopefully in due course if the trading goes my way.
