It all depends on what price you enter the market at. If the price is uncompetitive people will ignore it, if you enter at a daft price it will all be taken.

lets say
in pinnacle or any other sportsbook(not exchange)
Team A 3.2
Team B. 1.45
I place $20000 at @1.45
what will be the odds right now?
will the odds will increase in team B and decrease in team A or the market will not move at all

If it is possible theoretically amd practically I think I will do it, but is there 100% chance that it will happen?

At least for Pinnacle the likely scenario is that it depends on your track record. If you've proven over a certain sample to know when their pricing is off, then it'll move the price. The higher success rate you come with, the more it'll push the price on A up and down on B.Abdussattar wrote: ↑Mon May 21, 2018 2:50 pmlets say

Conversely, if you're a losing punter, they'll just take the bet and keep prices as they were. In other words, if what you're asking is whether you can generate your own arb by pushing prices, then no.
A $20,000 can manipulate the market but get it very slightly wrong and you've lost $20,000. The fact that you're asking such basic questions suggests it would not be a good idea for you to be placing huge bets and taking such risks.Abdussattar wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 7:31 amso can I manipulate the market with huge amount of money?
