Hi there,

Is it possible to construct a bot that will mop up any remaining small amounts of money at the best market back price when a large chunk was originally there and has now gone? For example, there is £1256 at 1.08 and then if this is almost gone and just £2 is left, the remaining £2 is mopped up by the bot, moving the best market price down in the process. Ideally it would be nice for it to be £2 or less, and in bigger races this amount could of course be altered to reflect the market conditions?

I've tried looking through BetAngel but can't find any conditions or parameters that seem to take into account the available money at a price?

Thanks! :)

Hi Ryan,

Moving the best market price down is meaningless unless there is actually money in the market. If for example, there's a £2 back order at 1.08, nobody is going to back for £1000 at 1.07 just to get in front of the £2 - they will simply ignore the £2 as insignificant.

Regards,

Derek
