Hi I'm using the automation tab to place a bet when the first runner hits a certain price in running in a race but I don't want it to place any further bets. At the moment I have to manually untick selections. Has anyone got a suggestion as to how I can set BA up to only place a bet on the first runner to hit a price.

Thanks

Are you using Guardian advanced automation?

You could set up a rule to trigger at your desired price and only trigger once.

Thanks. I did try Guardian automation but could only find options for all runners or a single selection, not the first selection.

Using guardian, set the rule to place the bet when the favourite has a last trade/back or lay price below x. You can do that using the 'fixed odds' conditions.

Construct the rule around the order of favourtism, that way if you bet on runner 1, in that order, it will always be the favourite.
