Snow fell last night at Folkstone so that is off. On waking this morning we have a covering of snow here as well and it's very cold. I imagine that will mean that Sandown is off as well.

That will leave Southwell, Lingfield and Cork.

According to the RP there is a 2nd inspection at 10 am for Sandown meeting. The clerk of the course says there is a "fighting chance" that they will go ahead, as the frost was not as bad as expected.

The "will racing go ahead?" market for Sandown is now trading at 1.34 for yes (was 3.5 last night). So the Betfair market seems to think it will go ahead.

We will be well pleased if it does go ahead. I looked at the "will racing go ahead market" this morning but really thought there was no chance.

Loads of FA Cup action today though, so will get stuck in there.

don't believe it. Cork messing around with track. 15 min delay. Now clashes with Lingfield. How supid are these people in charge!!! Effectively reduces today to 2 meetings
