Anyone else notice the 1.50 at plumpton Barak O'Barma started at 1000 went down to about 20's coming up to the end of the race finished third

I can understand why someone might want to name a useless horse George Bush, but surely Barak O'Barma (or variations thereof!) should be reserved for a really good horse, not one that opens at 1000-1! :)

Ran a cracker. Didn't really look like winning though was constantly stalking the winner. But got the place and that was a big price too. I noticed that in the place market a very very small amount of money was even matched at 1000/1. :shock:

yeah, seen that. I was around 7E green and just looking at in-play odds. when commentators started mentioning Barack it was still on 1000s, i was siting there looking how money was slowly taken and telling myself "take that 1000", but never took it. What a trade that would have been :evil:
