Surely it's like anything of value, which can be swapped for another edge of a similar value...
A very profitable trader has shared with me exactly how he trades, however I can't do what he does and make money. If its an automated system then I'm sure its different, but if you talking about discretionary trading. Someone can tell and even show you all their edges when they trade, but it's still extremely difficult to replicate their results.
Yeah, thats the thing.
In many 'gambling' jobs, actually pulling the trigger, is a decision based on confidence/knowledge and risk assessment.
Just showing someone a method, unless its black and white, u have an on-going problem, of how they handle the mental side.
There are few short-cuts .. at least today.

It was only a few weeks back on here and a trader was struggling with the horses pre race, Euler posted some advice one evening with a clear instruction for them to do 'A' then 'B' for the next few races and nothing more, several others seen this post and followed those exact instructions and all made a profit - most commenting after each race.megarain wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2017 11:28 amYeah, thats the thing.

At the end when Euler posted back to ask the original poster how he done guess what - Despite having those clear instructions (and everyone else following them and making money) he still lost on every race!
