Why don't they start loading the other runners while the horse is being re-shod. They do it in Oz and they have them all in just about so when they finish the re-shoeing they only have a couple left to load. Works really well and helps reduce the delay.

We wait until the finish re-shoeing before they even load a horse :?

Had nothing to show for over 10mins effort on that opener until the fav eventually drifted in the last few seconds before post

No disrespect to our own highly-skilled blacksmiths, but I'm pretty sure the Aussie's do it faster - they must have nail guns. ;)
