a prominent trader on twitter said pre race trading is dying a slow painful death. how many of you agree?
obviously not prepared to “adapt & survive”, any clues as to who it is?

In that case it must be true, we best all buy his £50 in running guide whilst we can :)

I had a record week last week on Betfair and will have a record year on Betdaq so I agree, it's completely stone dead. Never mistake losing your edge, if you ever had one, for a market decline. In my last meeting with Betfair they were expressing concern on the in-running market, not the pre-off. That's the reality.

Do you mind telling us what your record week total was?

I wish people would understand that when they're doing badly it's just them, not the industry.

Interesting to read Euler's comments about in running as one the Betfair forums, there is a lot of discussion about a lack of liquidity in the IR markets.

That said, a lot of those comments are from guys playing from 2f out and bemoaning the fact that bots are beating them.

Did Betfair give any indication what they plan to do to improve the IR situation, Euler?

I'll often have discussions with them about the markets and they were looking for suggestions on improving in-running liquidity.
