Sorry to hear that Derek, I haven't found Randwick to be amazing but I have had a really consistent session, 52 markets so far traded and only 2 losses both single figures. I found the first couple of hours quiet but it has really picked up the last couple of hours.

Glad you've had a good session. I've been a bit over-eager and opened trades before the market fully developed, got caught out by a few sharp moves and spent a lot of time digging myself out of the shit.

Never had to work so hard just to break even. :)

Don't know why Caulfield's on so late tonight, having to pass the time at Doomben.

Because Victoria have moved their Monday meeting to earlier Wednesday for summer.

Struggled with the maidens at Caulfield, handicaps are trading much better.

Thx Derek. I'm having a bit of a 'mare with Windows TaskScheduler lately so I need to go check it a bit earlier by the sounds of it.

Moved forward due to the early-40s weather.

Thanks Aaron, that explains the bizarre timings.

Do you know what 'picnic' form is, a term I often hear on the racing.com channel?

Non-TAB meetings. They aren't bet by off-course bookmakers or televised. There are very many picnic meetings in Australia, usually in small country towns.

I am sure there's some very nervous people in QLD today.

Are they like UK Point-to-Point meetings? If not in style, then in standing?

Yes that would be a good comparison.

The busy season is upon us once again with big days of racing on Boxing Day and New Years day if you want to really go for it in the next fortnight.
