Very poor liquidity at Rosehill.
Disagree. As expected it's better than average for Sydney on a Wednesday

Rosehill's unusually volatile tonight!
Is it? I'm obviously being a pain in the arse contrarian tonight! How many Wednesday Rosehill meetings have you traded mid-week without a graded race? I've only traded a few!

I've traded quite a few such meetings. The liquidity came much later than usual and it's quite rare for one of the favourites to be backed 7>4 at Rosehill, almost as rare as me having a losing market there. There was also money building up but little being taken.

Hope Randwick will trade as normal.

What time of day do you trade these markets ? anytime I look there is little or no liquidity
I trade them from 5 minutes before the scheduled off time. There is often little liquidity but it is a style I have developed to suit me and the markets, it is why I quite like Irish racing markets but dislike the big races in the UK. As Peter tweeted recently, for every strategy there is a market and for every market there is a strategy.
Thanks I get it now and I also dont like the massive markets I feel I have no control over what is happening ..

Anyone know what trading/liquidity at Mooney Valley is like, I've never traded there before?

June stats (3 days, 28 races), average total traded per race: 1 min before start time = 128 480, 1-2 secs before start time = 179 186.
More than Rosehill btw.

Thanks, bit of a late start but I'll give it a go.

Almost £500,000 matched in the first at Moonee Valley.

Friday night at Moonee Valley is typically fairly weak - much weaker than Melbourne Saturday - but tonight is a feature meeting with 5 group races.

Beteasy went to $3 before the jump, but Betfair was stuck at $2.85 - $2.90.

Remember the days when you had to go into the bosses office and explain why you're late?

Feels like a distant memory now. :D

The 45 minutes should be before or after the group one!
