Odds-on favourite in the first of the group ones. A bit worried about upsetting Betfair with the turnover tax.

I count 25 markets in a notepad each week.
As only trading Saturdays I haven't bothered to estimate how negatively 1.2% aggregate of matched back bets would affect my results.

Being prudent for now.

Couldn't resist a bit of scalping at 1.4 / 1.42 when it stopped there. :D

Scalping one tick often results in a profit less than 1.2% of your back stake, but Betfair actually get charged as much as 3% by NSW, so I'm going easy on this one in case they get stroppy about it.

Imagine how they feel about Winx. Six figures on each side of 1.07/1.08.

I'm not a big trader either but the way some of these markets scalp you could easily use your full $2000 turnover limit in one race.

Winx, 40 minutes out.

Amazing graph
PS: Digressing for a cat update: Pussygatto caught a big bloody rat night before last.Left it for us in middle of dining room..wasn't even punctured. She is a good hunter. I had to complement her even if I wasn't hungry :? ;) I triple bagged it but the heat we are having here has turned the outside bin area into a Chernobylesque danger zone :( ...

Ha, I just downloaded that chart to post. :)

A bit more action around 1.08 than 1.07. I need a few backers at 1.07 to even out - come on Winx fans take my money :)

My money's right at the back of the 1.07 queue and nothing's getting added behind it.

I reckon it will drop to 1.06 but you'd do well to get matched for a lay.

Yay, its moving now. There is way to much at 1.06, but I'll be fine to be matched out at 1.07. :) (Got my whole account balance to match :o ).

Oh and in the time I wrote this post and went back I was matched out and its moved to 1.06. Amazing.

I laid it at 1.07 and immediately scratched (sorry Betfair ;) ) before much money built up.

Hmmm, I wonder if a late plunge will get it down to 1.05. Maybe and if it does that'll be good to me coz now I'm in the queue at laying at 1.06. Relying on those big Winx fans to come through. She really is against nothing today.

Bang - filled at 1.06. :)
