Say lay a horse first, set the back bet at 20 ticks bigger and free bet if it loses and lose some if it wins?

Not sure you can set it this way though.

Thanks
Yes it can be done, only the usual offset cant be used to create a free bet if it loses so this part will have to be done slightly differently.

The easiest way is probably take the 'Lay the 1st to 2.0' bot and change the odds to 1.50 (or what ever odds you want to lay at)

Then instead of any offsets decide how many ticks profit you want and work out what the green up profit would be from that - then create a back bet to place at these odds for the green up amount after the above lay part has triggered.

For example if you wanted 50 ticks profit after the original lay @ 1.50 for £10 this would require a back bet at 2.0 for £5.
That will leave £0 if this horse still wins and £5 profit if any other horse wins

The add a back bet rule to it using the 'green plus' icon
Trigger just once and on parameters tab use 'Place at fixed odds' 2.0 for £5
then use the conditions
'Number of matched bets condition'
on selection is 'equal to' 1

That should do it
Is that lay rule available to download please.. ;)

Do I need to create a new Guardian Automation Bot or edit the 'Create a Free Bet on the Fav Guardian Automation Bot' with the instructions you have provided.

Hi

I placed a back bet at the start of 6f class 4 Maiden Stakes (Plus 10) race at 14:30 today and I have offset to lay by 1 tick down the odds, but it never matched.

Has that ever happened to anyone?

betingonly wrote:Hi,

Thanks for all the info once again, trying to take it all in.

Today I tested this bot (Free Bet on the Fav Guardian Automation Bot), plus made my own called 'Bet 1-4' - which basically backs the first 4 favored horses and then attempts to green-up when a profit of above 99p is achieved.

Apart from one race - foreign one selected by mistake - every race returned a profit or broke even.

I did try my 'Bet 1-4' on one race which backed the first 4 horses, the 1st favorite won but it didn't green up a profit. I assume this may be because of the book %? Not sure how to compensate for that; perhaps back 3 rather than 4.

Anyway, I've attached a screenshot for you to see how using this bot and my own on the selected races today did what I wanted it too, £1-2 per race.

This sounds exactly what iv been looking for mate, could you upload the .baf file or copy and past the automation settings your using

Hi guys.
I've read through all the posts on this topic.
How would I go about changing the rules/parameters to back favourites priced at 3.0 or under?
