the question is do you use them, they have to be pleasing on the eye otherwise you stop using them after a while.

If they win money I'm not sure I'd stop because they didn't look pretty.
Luckily for me my bots are fully auto and do any gathering in the background so never need to look at them but I guess there's no harm in making things look better if you need to.

Spreadsheets that are pleasing to the eye are a bonus, especially if you look at them frequently, but ultimately they are for information - like a really interesting book, black text should do the job. One of my football spreadsheets just calculates the best price to close, one cell is all I need to look at!MemphisFlash wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 4:19 pmthe question is do you use them, they have to be pleasing on the eye otherwise you stop using them after a while.

What a stroke of luck. Laid the draw, Betfair left the market suspended for over 10 minutes, was looking at a loss and couldn't get out, popped out for a fag, when I came back I heard the commentator singing Goooooooaoaoaoaoaoaoal, and the market was active!
Might have been a good thing I was out if the market was unsuspended before the goal but outages really do balance out.

Looking good mate, don't tend to use pre match stats much but having it all in one place can't hurt to explore further. Good work.MemphisFlash wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 12:24 amMight post this on the forum once i get it finished if i'm feeling genourous.

Beginning to wonder if there's any point in trading football with the randomness of suspensions. Betfair suspended the last 10 minutes of the first half of a Columbian match. Wouldn't be surprised if they look at their commission position on the half time markets and stop traders from closing their trades.
I've definitely been put in a few sticky spots in the last couple of weeks by strangeness in the suspensions. Some big games in there as well where whole chunks of the first half where suspended for seemingly no reason.Derek27 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 1:54 amBeginning to wonder if there's any point in trading football with the randomness of suspensions. Same for me, had a South American match being suspended from the 4th minute until the end last week, with no option to trade out my position. Not a winner and very annoying to say the least.. They are currently investigating, but we all know they will find a way to state that there was no issue from their side.

Can't get used to Inter's away strip, it looks like a tea-towel
