It s an english clubs characteristic, they never give up... ...
Except when they play for their national side...
Example: 8 years ago, we went 2-1 down against Brazil. From the players' attitudes, it was like we were 4-0 down!

I said english clubs
It`s like spain.. Real madrid and barcellona made football history but, the national team won 10 world cups before the opening games to return home empty handed....for the happiness of all my english friends I would love to see england winning but only if it`s not against ITALY

Will they not be playing for 6th place, given that that would mean that they have a chance of qualifying for European football next season?
Also, although Liverpool are extremely unlikely to get 4th place, it's still a theoretical possibility. As a Man U fan, I hope they show the same spirit tomorrow as they did when they were 3-0 down against Milan!

No Pompey will not be allowed to play in Europe due to going into administrationenzabella2009 wrote:Isn`t the 7th place for the relegated PORTSMOUTH?
It's a shame it's been allowed to come to that.
Hopefully one day UEFA will introduce a cap on footballer wages and transfer fees, so that clubs don't go broke trying to make sure they have the talent to stay in the Premiership...
