If those clumps of ice/snow were from a horses hoof there is no chance it will be on - trying to ride a horse with it balling up is lethal. Imagine strapping a cricket ball to the bottom of each of your feet and running a hurdles race and that is what it would be like plus for the jockies/horses behind imagine having someone throw cricket balls at you full pelt.
I wouldn't ride in this weather.

They should shift this weeks evening racing to the afternoon so we have two meetings on in the afternoon and also it would be much safer for everyone to be travelling in the day time rather than the evening/night with the chances of snow and ice this week.
Also I think they should switch some of the days AW racing so we have some blank days and then 2 meetings on the days we do have racing.
Doesn't make sense imo to try and have racing everyday and only one meeting on those days.

KEMPTON's twilight fixture on Wednesday, scheduled to start at 3.50pm, has been brought forward, with a 2.00pm start now scheduled.
The eight race card will now finish at 5.30pm and could be the only card to take place on Wednesday, with Ayr, Catterick and Navan already abandoned and Plumpton also at risk.
