Store a value of partial unmatched bet remaining

Hi.
Is it possible to store a value of the liability and/or payout of an unmatched bet still remaining on a selection in a market?
The reason. If you have placed a lay bet and it gets part matched, could you move the remaining stake to the front or say 2nd price in the book and adjust the stake so the liability/payout would be the same as the original bet?
