Starts Thursday 23rd May 2024, final Saturday 29th June 2024 at Towcester.

Now that GTV is no more, and Towcester are on SIS only, does anyone know if there will be any TV coverage or are we now just down to watching on bookies websites/billying down to darkest Northamptonshire with a pair of binoculars?

Bit of a tangent - are greyhounds ever shown on TV? Never seen them broadcast on any main channel

I remember them being shown on Eurosport a few years back. To be honest haven’t really bothered to check since then.

Sadly not in the UK any more, you can watch the PGR tracks here: https://www.premiergreyhoundracing.co.uk/

It'll be a great shame if there isn't some sort of coverage of the Derby.

Doesn't look like it will be on 'conventional' tv but it will be on the SIS site:

https://www.sisracing.tv/

Streaming options for UK dogs are pretty good now. You can watch all races live (for free) either on the link above or on the at the races site. You can also access archives of all the races.

Thanks Dai, I didn't realise SIS was streamed, I'll check it out later.

I think they're the old RPGTV/Sport Stuff channels which are no longer broadcast.

Don't have Sky so I can't confirm but betfair list one or two cards every day as Sky Sports Racing so I think there's still some shown on Sky. This wouldn't include the Greyhound Derby though because it's always PGR tracks

More technical issues and Towcester abandon a meeting four days before the Derby starts. My word.

Let's hope they have loaded that Duracell bunny with fresh batteries today. Currently already behind schedule !!!
Thankfully I have NO liabilities, exposure attached to this racetrack

Three days of first round heats start tonight, be a miracle if it goes without a hitch but lets hope it does.

There is a BF antepost market although the book is currently 159%. Swords Rex, last years beaten favourite in the final, has a few quid queued up to back it.

Good luck to all involved.
