Excel problem - Using the SP

If I want to use the SP as a reference when making backs/lays how can I get excel to put the price of each horse into a cell when it goes in-play?

I know that it can be achieved using circular references but that is a little messy and I am sure that it could be done via VBA but my knowledge of this is limited.

Or is there another way of calling up the SP?

This will then appear in cell AF.
