Been researching this a lot and it seems this is not the first time there has been a match like this and one involving Cheivo. Some bookmakers cancelled bets last time but it looks like, from what I can make out, that Betfair did not cancel.
It's very bizarre that any match can have the same price for the draw and 1-1!!!
1-1 has drifted a bit but is way too short.
Chievo - Catania

..If the scoreline has been settled by the 2 teams on 1-1 one of the 2 teams has to score the 1st goal, in that case still worth to lay the draw and green up when the goal is scored. What amaze me even more then 1.9 draw is that Catania won 3-1 Vs Inter Milan last week, the odds for catania to win are 6/1 vs chievo same quotes offered for Inter Milan to win vs chealsea last tuesday but, chievo aint chelsea and Catania at the moment can beat top teams.
Rigging a game like this that involves at least 22 players being in on it surely has got to be nigh on impossible. One or two in a team could be bent and throw a game away such has happened before, but for a draw you'd to control too many people. Lay it up I say (not that I'll be putting my money where my mouth is!)

It` s seems to be a corrupted match..All the allegation are right but there no proof yet. some1 said to rig a game like this you need 22 players involved. Those 22 players on the pitch all togheter worth around 3.9 million pounds a week, over 203 million pounds a year. would they RISK their football carrieir for an extra 2.2 million? When match fixing happened over Italy few years ago there was over 5 billion pounds worth the scum.

Hi,
From the information I gathered it wasn't a corrupted match, it was a settled match. Both teams wanted the match to end in a draw and they have settled it. The difference to corruption may be subtle, but there is one.

HI
Well Silvio was holding quite an extravagent rally so maybe he needed a few extra quid to cover his expenses. I would use the word corruption together with the word allegedly.
You don't want to be waking up with a horses head in the bed with some blue circle wellies, being made an offer you can't refuse.
No doubt the Pontif will forgive them he's forgiven everyone else allegedly.
Cheers
