just an update i managed to get my money back which is great, so still apart of this great community
the first complaint just got a "your money is lost due to our terms and conditions we arent liable" email after 3 weeks.
after complaining a 2nd time they looked into it further and said that the money was withdrawn to my skrill account so theres nothing they can do
my 3rd complaint was that my skrill account was deactivated years ago, which they wanted proof. so after discussing with skrill and getting proof of de-activation, 3 weeks later i got my money back.
Allthough happy with the outcome i wonder what would have happened if i had not pursued this furthur the money must have been in limbo somewhere.
Thanks for the support and advice

Brilliant.
Everyone's trying to stitch you up these days. Lesson is, if it feels right you are right....'man on the Clapham omnibus' principals still apply.

1) Have you told Betfair?robinburks wrote: ↑Thu Dec 06, 2018 6:25 pmJust had my betfair account hacked yesterday lost £575.00 bad news
2) Do you have 2 step authenticator?
3) Did they simply withdraw the cash?
4) Did they use it to bet/trade with?
5) Did they transfer the money to Casino wallet?

Are you saying someone else withdrew money from your account, if so, then how ?
When you add a new card or payment method to your account then Betfair carry out industry standard checks. At least they do in the UK, don’t know about elsewhere.
What payment methods do you have on your account ?
