I am, I have watched around a hundred videos and about 90% of Caan Barry's book.Derek27 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 10:29 pmCan you not apply the same level of research, and effort of moving one foot in front of the other to trading, instead of asking the forum to do your research and move your feet for you?JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 10:22 pmLucky Luke, buying something for £2 and selling it for £220 isn't luck. It's research and moving one foot in front of the other lol

What is?
I know someone who bought a WW2 fighter pilot leg watch for £20 and sold it for £8,000.
When fighter pilots were flying they had a watch that was attached to the top of their thigh that they would look down on when they need to look at the time.
That's not an effort because you're not taking anything in, you forget everything as soon as you've read it. And you're not moving one foot in front of the other, your posting to the forum and asking us where you should place your foot for each step!JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 11:44 amI am, I have watched around a hundred videos and about 90% of cant Barry's book.Derek27 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 10:29 pmCan you not apply the same level of research, and effort of moving one foot in front of the other to trading, instead of asking the forum to do your research and move your feet for you?JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2019 10:22 pmLucky Luke, buying something for £2 and selling it for £220 isn't luck. This is my view at the moment. I have read stories of current pro's who started out by losing a lot of money. I am trying avoid that. People told me about calculating Expected Value but no-one seems to actually do it. It's a concept of looking for value which is obvious. I am trading on an almost daily basis - it doesn't help when I can't watch the matches unless I go the pub.
There are some great people on here and I am very thankful to them.

Brilliant
That must have been handy when it was time for lunch.JustLukeYou wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2019 11:45 amWhen fighter pilots were flying they had a watch that was attached to the top of their thigh that they would look down on when they need to look at the time.
