When you're young you drink ten pints of beer a night and get a kebab and chips on your way home. By the time you're middle-aged, you start thinking about your health, cutting back on alcohol, calories, etc.

But ... the country has always been run by old people with a lifetime's experience who should already be equip with this knowledge. Yet after 14 years in government, they suddenly say, hey, we can be more efficient and stop throwing away money like we have done over the last 14 years!

At the same time, they spend millions in court battles to keep alive a plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda at a cost of £100M per asylum seeker.
