Betfair have seemingly rolled out a new way of visualizing your P&L including for 12 months now.

It looks quite good. It seems they've done it as part of their safer gambling workstream.

Nice to have a simple top-line summary. Shame there's no 'lifetime' option.

Interesting. Why doesn't the graph start from zero?

Edit: got it, first figure includes a day/month.

I saw someone mention they'd seen drift\steam icons on the horses on the website as well

The figure shown on the graph for each day is the closing cumulative P&L up to the end of that day. So the graph starts on the profit from day 1, and ends with the cumulative profit from days 1 to 7.

Decent addition by Betfair to be fair to them, grifters should have no excuse now to not show how profitable they are as well

P/Ls are easily faked but a screenshot of your graph would be hard to forge. :)

If they're gonna show you a 12-month graph, can't see why they can't lengthen the usual PL page to 12 months. The data must be readily available.

If they never showed 3 month results why would start showing 12 months?

Eh, even among real traders human psychology means nobody is really happy with their results so you rarely ever see 3 month P&Ls.

Like they say, comparison is the thief of joy :D

Compare upwards for inspiration or compare downwards for gratification.

Realistically you can only compare to your past self and past results!

They show the last 3 months on the old PL page. If you edit the "to" date, you used to be able to go back 4 months (even if you select an earlier date), but I've just tried it and 3 months is now the limit.

I've been struggling to reconcile the monthly graphs with my PL but I've figured it out now. The November to December PL is actually your PL from the 1st of December to now.

I think I've spotted a bug in this feature that reports the wrong value. I reconcile my accounts weekly and noticed this week a difference in values, which I think is due to withdrawals.

If I can replicate it, I'll let the forum know.

It looks like they're still trying to get it right.

I have always got this response when I access that URL
