a lot of forum members were rejoicing today that the times at Cheltenham changed as it will stop the Bots from working.
I trade manually and have zero problem with bots or the market activity hedging/bots/bookies provide!

The delays cause headaches for most of us I would suspect?

These 'non Cheltenham' courses are getting increasingly wild as the day goes on...

And they were volatile to begin with

I now only trade on Betdaq and have had success with automating it with Betangel.
I had a thought though and it's this.
If a race is going to go your way anyway then why not have your trades framed in advance to take full advantage of how the race is panning out.
If it's going to go against you then that's just it.
I think that's important.
Took me ages to get to that .

Edit.
The speed of being able to cancel bets in place is a powerful tool too.

ITV Racing have always mentioned the exchange in passing but they seem to pushing a lot more in recent times.

Be good if they started putting the exchange prices up but I’d imagine bookmakers wouldn’t like that!

I see them fire and ice signs work well Betfair have added. They've got Cloudy Flamingo in the next at Exeter as a steamer it had a traded range of about 5 ticks then drifted out

Amazing what you can pick up after watching same video around 20 times
to copy a workbook instead of paying for it, lol.

Hi All,

I've found the last few days really tough after having a really good spell recently.

Is this a post Cheltenham hangover or is it just me?

Markets are generally rubbish just after Cheltenham.

We go through a transition to flat racing now.

Thanks for the reply Euler,

I'm trying to get my head around why I'm finding it so difficult.

Is it just simply a case of a lot less money in the market so everything is so much more volatile?
