So when they plan an maintenance, they don't do it, and they don't plan it, they crash the site right before the start of a race?
Agreed and at Moonee Valley. I find it really spoils the markets.
Will be winning Group 1's very soon. Again very impressive and 1.9 was huge given the performance.
One of the main reasons they are so late in the UK is that the vast majority of the courses don't make any effort to get horses to the start well in advance. Then on the flat courses the stall handlers make little effort to start loading before the start time. So many courses see the race time as they time to start loading rather than for the race to actually start.Aarondewit wrote: ↑Wed Aug 22, 2018 8:40 amOn average races probably jump 50 seconds late here in Aus which is fairly pathetic. There's obvious outliers (including waiting for another race) which are beyond the control of barrier staff, but how hard is it to run races on time? I wonder if they jump so late for betting reasons as it give punters a couple of minutes to see horses and rush to get their bets on?
