Hello!
Is there any historical data from TPD (for sections times) available? Can't find anything on the TPD website...
Or is there any other source where you could get section times for UK/IRE races?
Thanks

Historical Data from TPD?
Not sure, just contact them and ask. I'm not sold on TPD Data as a useful tool. At times it can give you information such as the CE figures that are totally unreliable and you lay a Horse IR only to see it will by 5L.
Love to know why any of the splits are important, they seem useless to me. The speed/pace graphs are good but the other information can be a bit sketchy. I cancelled mine as I took some bit hits from bad info.

It's far from easy. If you contact Betfair BDP they can set you up with a licence key to access the historical GPS data from gmax. It's my understanding that gmax own the tech and the data whilst TPD are agent operators, but I could be wrong. You'll need coding skills to interpret it, especially to extract sectionals, but some python tools are available on github. The guys at Betfair were incredibly helpful guiding me through how to do it but I abandoned the project last year (insufficient IQ) so I don't have any more up to date info, but I'm sure they'd point you in the right direction.

I keep getting this error too!
Thanks, assumed as much, collected a lot myself but would be handy to have it all to hand. Was looking for positional data rather than sectional
