Place at (Parameters)

 
The 'Place at' option let you specify were you want to have your bet submitted in the market, using either fixed odds or odds in relation to the current market price, see below for details of what each option does.
 
 
Fixed price - the price that you want assigned to the bet
Best market price - is for taking the current highest price for the selection (for a back bet) or the current lowest price for the selection (for a lay bet).  This is often known as the 'touch' price.
2nd best market price - the 2nd best price for the selection in the market (based on the description of Best market price), this will be seen on the one-click screen as one price away from the touch price.  Pricing a bet here will give it a better chance of filling in a fast moving or low volume market, but you'll be given a slightly worse price that the best market price.
3rd best market price - the 3rd best price for the selection in the market. Seen on the one-click screen as two prices away from the touch price.  Like the 2nd best market price, this improves the chances of the bet being matched but with the compromise of a slightly worse price.
Reverse market price - is for offering bets to the market, so if placing a back bet it will be placed (offered) at the best lay price, and if placing a lay bet it will be placed (offered) at the best back price.
Custom ticks above best market price - take the Best market price for the selection and increase it by the specified number of price ticks.
Custom ticks below best market price - take the Best market price for the selection and decrease it by the specified number of price ticks.
Custom ticks above best reverse market price - in the case of a Back bet, take the Best Lay price in the market for the selection and increase it by the specified number of price ticks.  In the case of a Lay bet, take the Best Back price in the market for the selection and increase it by the specified number of price ticks.
Custom ticks below best reverse market price - in the case of a Back bet, take the Best Lay price in the market for the selection and decrease it by the specified number of price ticks.  In the case of a Lay bet, take the Best Back price in the market for the selection and decrease it by the specified number of price ticks.
Custom ticks above Actual SP - for in-play markets that have had an SP specified by betfair, take that price and increase it by the specified number of price ticks.
Custom ticks below Actual SP - for in-play markets that have had an SP specified by betfair, take that price and decrease it by the specified number of price ticks.
Custom ticks above Projected SP - for use on pre-off markets that have a Projected SP provided by betfair, take that price and increase it by the specified number of price ticks (note, Betfair update there Projected SP every 60 seconds).
Custom ticks below Projected SP - for use on pre-off markets that have a Projected SP provided by betfair, take that price and decrease it by the specified number of price ticks (note, Betfair update there Projected SP every 60 seconds).
Custom % above best market price - take the Best market price for the selection and increase it by the specified percentage in price.
Custom % below best market price - take the Best market price for the selection and decrease it by the specified percentage in price.
Custom % above best reverse market price - in the case of a Back bet, take the Best Lay price in the market for the selection and increase it by the specified percentage in price.  In the case of a Lay bet, take the Best Back price in the market for the selection and increase it by the specified percentage of price.
Custom % below best reverse market price - in the case of a Back bet, take the Best Lay price in the market for the selection and decrease it by the specified percentage in price.  In the case of a Lay bet, take the Best Back price in the market for the selection and decrease it by the specified percentage in price.
Custom % above actual SP - for in-play markets that have had an SP specified by betfair, take that price and increase it by the specified percentage of price.
Custom % below actual SP - for in-play markets that have had an SP specified by betfair, take that price and decrease it by the specified percentage of price.
Custom % above Projected SP - for use on pre-off markets that have a Projected SP specified by betfair, take that price and increase it by the specified percentage of price. (note, Betfair update there Projected SP every 60 seconds).
Custom % below Projected SP - for use on pre-off markets that have a Projected SP specified by betfair, take that price and decrease it by the specified percentage of price. (note, Betfair update there Projected SP every 60 seconds).
Servant Context Price - This will use the price under your mouse cursor (on the ladder or one-click screen) at the time the servant is started, or if your starting the servant via the 'Control' tab of the 'Servant Manager' you will be able to manually enter the price you want before pressing 'Start'
Custom ticks above Servant context price - As above but take the price under your cursor or that you enter on the 'Control' tab of the 'Servant Manager' and increase it by the specified number of price ticks.
Custom ticks below Servant context price - Take the price under your cursor or that you enter on the 'Control' tab of the 'Servant Manager' and decrease it by the specified number of price ticks.
Custom percentage above Servant context price - Take the price under your cursor or that you enter on the 'Control' tab of the 'Servant Manager' and increase it by the specified percentage
Custom percentage below Servant context price - Take the price under your cursor or that you enter on the 'Control' tab of the 'Servant Manager' and decrease it by the specified percentage
Stored Value Price - Allows you to place your bet at the price of an earlier stored value, when selected you will get an additional option to specify the name of the Stored Value you wish to use.
