Tennis Completed Set Score Condition

This condition allows the automation rule's trigger based on a previous set score/s of a match.

The condition can test if a player won or lost an earlier set by testing against either a specific set number (ie, the score of set 2), the previous set, or the score 'X' number of sets ago.

In the example below I have set up the condition so this rule can only trigger if the player the rule is applied to won Set 1 by 3 or more games (ie, they won 6-3, 6-2, 6-1 or 6-0)

If you wanted to trigger a rule based on a specific set score then you just need to work out how many games difference that would be, so to trigger a rule if the player won 6-2, you would use 'By 4 games', as no other set score can produce a win by 4 games.

You can use multiple instances of this condition to compare multiple previous set scores, so you could add another condition to test if a player won or lost the 2nd set by 'X' number of games.

In the following example I've left the original condition that the player won the first set by 3 or more games, I then want to test they only lost the previous set by 2 or less games, (ie, 6-4, 7-5 or 7-6)

So this rule could only trigger if the player won
Set 1 either 6-3, 6-2, 6-1 or 6-0
and lost the previous set 6-4, 7-5 or 7-6

NB, if you want to test a player won/lost a set after a tie-break you would use 'By 1 game' (ie, the set score was 7-6)

Note: This feature requires the live tennis score feed to have been provided for the match by Betfair. It is worth checking in Tennis Trader or the Watch List if the scores are available for a market before using this condition.
In January 2021 Betfair informed us they will no longer be offering live scores and server feeds on ALL women's (WTA) matches.
